Tis the season for road trips and gas station meals. So, naturally, we wanted to lean into the latest and greatest idea we’ve ever had, the Gas Station Gourmet, and come up with some sort of contest based around our adoration of gas stations. Depending on the stomach issues I’m facing, either honey buns and gummy bears with a white Monster, or a sausage biscuit and Bordens Chocolate Milk.

I like them peanut butter chocolate Chex mix, and some m&ms. Couple clif bars, light blue gatorade, some blue waters in the cooler, I’ll grab some beef jerky and seeds, nothing can stop this fat kid at heart once I get rolling. Ooh don’t forget the gas station Cuban sandwich.

Fried chickin, chili cheese dawgs, 12 inch ice cream cones and lip snacks. The Short Stop is 15 minutes from my tail water and also offers the quarter machine game; they only sometimes get made at you when you shake the quarters down.
Diet Dr. Pepper and Nacho Cheese Combos for the win!
A breakfast burrito. Unless they have breakfast pizza. I’ll probably concoct something out of the soda fountain, too.

Double fisting some hot Pork Chile Verde Tornados fresh off the roller grill. Pork rinds and Dr. Pepper if I’m feeling a little dangerous that morning.

BBQ sunflower seeds; Penrose pickled sausage; king sized payday; sun drop; & cinnamon mentos
Super spicy squatch and a Gatorade, my guilty pleasure. Often followed by a banana and a tall boy IPA.
Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with a Mountain Dew to wash it down
Mid-Day: Gardetto’s garlic rye chips, 2x roller egg rolls and spicy mustard, sour patch kids, XL black coffee, and a couple local market $.99 waters.
Morning: Everything above plus sausage, egg, and cheese.
Beef jerky, pork rinds, Snyder Buffalo wing pretzels, pretty much anything little Debbie makes and Dr. Enuff (local energy drink) or diet mt. Dew.
You gotta get a cheap cold sandwich, some doritos to put on said sandwich, and a few pickled eggs. Pbr for dessert.
Beef jerky is always a must. A sixer of the local beer and Gatorade for the next morning.
Sea salt chips, sour patch kids, and anything with caffeine
600 pounds of sin spinning at my window all I said was come on in.
Depends on where I am, and what gas stations are available, but for a day on the water it’s hard to go wrong with dot’s original pretzels, either a Reese’s fast break or a snickers, and a hot dog. If it’s a kum and go though, pepperoni pizza tornados all day.
Lunchables, Topo and Lances Toasties.
